The Love & Romance Collection - At first I wanted to make a collection that not only was inspired by love but the pain and loss of that love. I have to admit this collection has gone through many metamorphosis. Ahh...The curse of being passionate. It is true that artists are tortured souls ( I say that with a smile which has taken me many years to do) for those painful moments that I wanted to immortalize forever in a Dagger Heel with his name written across it, those cute hearts that are lightning bolts ripped in half, for the ocean of tears that come from listening to those songs that once brought laughter and warmth. Instead I am choosing to take what I hope is the high road with a Grace and Elegance, because as a Wise Beautiful Friend said to me many times, Love is pain, Love is crying and Love is earth shattering, but YOU CAN'T STOP LOVING. So in The Love & Romance Collection you will find just that, a 43 year old who through the pain still BELIEVES in love and romance and a Prince Charming who is worth the wait and worthy of her LOVE. You may still see those Dagger Heel shoe designs (again another curse, once a design is in your head it must be designed) but not in this collection and not designed with pain and heartbreak but instead with a wisdom and refinement of embracing the healing process and emerging A BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY - Designer Michelle Pollock
