"I begin with an idea and then it becomes something else"

One Night in Bangkok - My passion for art, whether I express it through dance, architecture, painting, sculpturing or music infused with my fascination of other cultures blend of history and folklore; such as Asian, Chinese, Japanese and India is my inspiration in this collection. I named it after the one place that combines intrigue, a variety of cultural influences and is known for its rich artists.
Bangkok the stirring capital of Thailand, this fascinating, colorful and throbbing city with its
awe-inspiring architecture, pulsating nightlife and floating markets, rich in history and innate beauty. Bangkok reminds me of a city caught in between worlds. A city that has one foot in the 21st century, and one foot a hundred years in the past. The influences of Thai culture are a unique variant of many cultures in Asia. Lying between the two great hubs of Asian civilization, China and India, it is not surprising to see the significant traces of Hindu and Chinese cultures in Thai culture. I can feel the enthusiasm and intense energy the feeling of being lost inside the city walls.
In ancient times up to the early modern period in Thailand, Thai craftsmen were considered the "true artists". They were thought to possess superior intellect, a full understanding of culture and a wide-ranging wisdom. They had the capacity to create and produce great works of art that can but rarely find their equal in execution today. These arts not only reflected the artists’ creative force but also cultural reflections of the art and its use in Thai society and culture.
This collection is a collage of contemporary contrasts with a touch of unique character immersing you in a world of inexhaustible fun and enjoyment with a rare uninhibited experience. I hope it captures my love of exotic travels and diverse cultures.
